That is not something I have seen.  CKCSC dogs are most definitely smaller
and more refined than they have been in the past--not more coarse.  In fact
it is getting quite hard to do well with a 13 inch dog that weighs 18 lbs.
anymore.  The dog that wins most often today weighs 16 lbs. and the bitch,
maybe only 13-14 lbs.?  Neither are close to coarse.

Sorry, but I was not talking about one particular dog, but in actuality
about every *nice* AKC-only and dual registered dog that was seen by my
friends at an AKC show in the last 7 years.

A combination of efforts will still happen--if you want it to.   Why rehash?
