I must stick up for the NW. When we have a winning dog that we want to get
out of the ring....so to speak; that we are competing against well, it seems
Myra, Pat, Heidi, Dawn, Sherry etc etc would rather stack the deck; get them
finished and move on. What in the world would make someone want the dog to
come back because he/she didn't get the points, only to loose all over again
to that dog at another AKC or CKC show?

I am lucky to be part of a sane group. We do go to win but I have not
seen anyone try to hurt another's chance for a championship let alone a
point or two. As for girls in heat at the show: many a dog owner thanks
another owner for leaving them at home (especially when having a crazy boy
BOB)! I
think wiser consider the consequences to bringing a bitch in season or not
to the
show grounds for a variety of reasons.

As for someone not wanting to show to a judge they know will not like their
dog.....or wanting to show to someone who would like their
dog........................

There are always two sides to a quarter rarely do we want to take a look at
the other side.

When I meet the person who takes their dog away so I can't win, I shall turn
the other cheek. After all I have just won haven't I? And best of all by
their choice.
