Two things.  Tryptophan is an essential amino acid - i.e. humans must have it (I
don't have any information on dogs.)  The amount of Trytophan in turkey
according to a study at the University of Flordia College of Pharmacy is no
different then hamburger or chicken.  The reference below information.
