I like to suggest that couples establish their human family first... that they should have all their children; wait until their youngest is at least 5 years of age (preferably Age 6); and then look into getting a dog for their well-established family. I agree with Patricia that when puppy comes first and then the children, the dog usually gets in the way and is booted out the door.
I also feel that Cavaliers should never be trained to say off leash. They should always been safely contained behind a fence or on a leash at ALL times. It only takes a second for a "trained" Cavalier to see something move, such as even a butterfly, and dart clear across a busy street and end up in a deadly accident. It's just NOT worth taking a chance. ~Katy _______________________________________________________ Send a cool gift with your E-Card http://www.bluemountain.com/giftcenter/ ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
