Laura, I think that is an acceptable goal, too. I do hope that will be the average lifespan some day in my lifetime! I probably miswrote my question. I didn't mean that I expected 19 yrs. to be an average age--was just using poodles as an example! I do wish my Dinah could reach age 15, but only if she's still happy and comfortable with her life!
