This speaks volumes. "pet people" really love their Cavaliers, wherever they buy them. I went to a heart clinic last year and a couple who had purchased lovely and well-loved dogs from reputable resources had diagnoses of Grade 2 and Grade 3. Their dogs were too fat. not too heavy, TOO FAT, but they refused to understand that they were really stressing the entire system of their dogs by over-feeding them in the name of "pampering". each person blamed the other for the overweight problem. Neither seemed to recognize that even with their "window of opportunity" in the grade 2 and 3 murmurs sans any other complications that they were streesing their Cavaliers' systems by over-nutrition/over-feeding.
