Laura has a point here. Why don't the Regional or main club in UK organize
health fairs which is what we do here in the Northeast, the South, the W est
and the Midwest. The United States is a HUGE expanse yet it seems we all
manage to get to a cardiologist annually with our dogs. Some breeders are not
accessible to a cardiologist so they capitalize on the heart clinics at shows
for their show dogs and they make an appointment with a cardiologist, get
together with a friend and drive the remaining dogs in their respective kennels
many miles to a cardiologist's clinic. Living in the boonies where
cardiologists are not available in the immediate area is not an excuse for not
having the dogs examined by a cardiologist.
