I was having a conversation with another breeder yesterday, and can't remember what influence a great grandparent, or great great, has on a litter of puppies. Do I remember correctly that it is 1/16? Of course, it would be different if that were doubled up. If nothing in the pedigree matches for four generations or more, could matching "names" have an influence at that point? Yes, I have the books, but don't have time to look at the moment. I know we have several people on the list that are really great with genetics. Thank you in advance, Rosanne
