Vets do take advantage, and sometimes they give such awful advice that it's
scary.  One of my friends had a puppy who was a swimmer.  Typical in a
litter of two.  Her vet said:  "Well, we won't put him down today....."
Swimmers are usually a quick fix, and instead here is this vet talking about
putting the puppy down.  Didn't have a clue how to hobble the puppy.  Myra
