Hi Jeanie.  In 26 years breeding I've had one swimmer.  I didn't hobble his
legs, simply exersised his legs several times a day and he turned out fine.
Incidentally, I haven't even heard of half the health things coming up on
this list never mind experienced them and my dogs are well known for living
very long active lives.
