Susan...

I feel if they were referring to a "pet trim" than I feel that does not
imply they are supporting a "show trim"...I frankly do not see the
correlation??? Am I missing something???

I agree with Tina Sterling that a CKCS should not take a professional
handler to finish a dog andlater to obtain a group placement. If a dog
cannot be finish or place in a group without a professional handler than the
dog needs to be reassessed. And I must add after witnessingTina with her
beloved Ch Holyoke Infra Red in the ring...that bond between owner handler
and CKCS is beautiful to observe...

I remember when he won an award of merit at ACKCSC 2001 National and Karin
of Sheeba CKCS was trying to assist with his photo session by giving
direction from the supportive viewing audience...

Karin kept saying "Tina...the eye...the eye"...referring to positioning his
head so both his eyes could be viewed in the picture. Tina said"
Karin..the eye..yes he has two". Karin replied "Tina... you are so funny".
That is what I like to see...when other exhibitors/owner handlers are
excited about each other wins and having fun...

That is what makes this an enjoyable sport!!!

Take care,
