The Cavaliers of the Northeast have a Health Day every year in April in Doylestown, PA. You can have eyes, heart, micro-chipping, and hips done without anesthesia. The hips are $50.00. It is organized and run by Courtney Carter and Kelly. I attended Tina's in January to have two hips done, and a few eyes and hearts. It is unfortunate or fortunate (depending on where you live) that both of these are in the same general area. I know of a vet that does the hip x-rays without anesthesia in Conn., someone in that area could try and organize a health day there. Of course, this is not a small job, it is a lot of work, but it can be done. For all of the us that have these health days within our reach, we should be very grateful to the people who do all of the work for us.
