Sue, My husband is the same way. I think he must be related to the anything for a buck brothers somewhere way back. We built a brick stair case from the front of the house around the back and out to the kennel. My husband asked me to come with him one cold(10) winter day and help load up a few bricks. He said "it might take oh about two hours." 10 pickup loads later I was so tired all I could do was laugh. It turned out wonderful and is still in great shape today. The whole key to it is the sand bed. I don't live there any more but we are going to do the brick (used of course) for the walk between the puppy room where the deck starts all the way around the house to another patio. I have the feeling this summer will only be the start of this project. ( I really need to learn how to run a bob cat).
