Right next to my 3 acre lot where I am building my house is a huge abandoned brick house. It is falling down--about half has caved in. I keep looking at that house wondering if I could use those bricks somewhere. How hard is it to get the mortar off the bricks? Are they truly usable? Of course they are probably the type with the holes in them!
