Hi, Jeanie,
This is the same concept as we have but I like the thought of using
second hand brick if one can find it. You are quite right, even the
pavers get hot in summer, but unlike pad cement we do have the drainage
and footing as it is roughed up a bit before setting; not a smooth
surface.
Now thinking of a source for second hand brick.....who do I know doing
reconstruction? <G>
