Thanks for the clarification, Kathy,
I do believe that is right. However, I would be very loathe to see the
"issue" come to a vote without a real definition of parameters
concerning what a "yes" or "no" vote meant. I understand that the vote
last time was not "would the CKCSC, USA members like to form a parent
club to steward the breed as it moved into AKC recognition" but rather
"would the members like AKC recognition"; a moot point as the breed was
going to be recognized with or without a vote. So, in my mind, it
matters not who voted for or against because the vote was entirely on a
moot issue.
If the issue was defined by a neutral party as I suggested either in a
setting of mediation or even if CKCSC, USA acted alone in this, it would
most advantageous.
