I'm confused as to what you are addressing in my comments below?
Surely, people like showing in both venues. I'm not sure what that has
to do with the issue of breeding and registration vis a vis AKC only
dogs? The question put to a vote back then was not "would you like to
preserve shows without pro handlers?", (and perhaps those who do would
like to show in UKC), but rather "would you like the breed to be
recognized by AKC?". That is tantamount to my asking for a vote on
"would you like it if Microsoft didn't make software?".
So far as I'm aware, the CKCSC, USA as it is today can still prohibit
pro handlers if they wish while allowing in AKC only dogs. I think that
this is apples and oranges.
