The question on the ballot was" Shall the CKCSCUSA turn over its stud book to the AKC" and the question that AKC asked was "Shall the CKCSCUSA be the AKC parent club under full recognition". The ballot was not "secret"..we all had to sign our names to our ballots. The AKC said it did not need the CKCSCUSA stud bik. But the ballot asked the question about the stud book. The vote was taken in 1994, I think. About 119 members - I was one at the time - voted "yes". about 900 members voted "no". there were about 2200 members of the club at that time. the issue was FOR 3 YEARS PRIOR TO THE BALLOT misrepresented to the membership - at - large. Apparently it still is.
