Actually this is not quite true. If there were just two clubs we would have a choice, but one club is not just a club--it is a registry too. A registry that greatly limits *choice* for ALL--not just CKCSC members! Even if a breeder drops out of CKCSC, CKCSC STILL dictates that breeder's choices! In my opinion this does much more harm than good for the welfare of the breed because we are being forbidden to work *together*. I could well imagine what would happen if a future Presidential hopeful had 2 organizations working independently on his or her campaign!
