Judy, I believe the CKCSC hired an independent outside auditing firm to count the ballots and when they checked the signatures against the membership list and tallied the votes the ballots were destroyed. That constitutes a secret ballot. If the votes were counted by one or more board members or if any CKCSC member had access to the signed ballots, then the ballot would not be secret. Tom Faulkner
