While I agree with you, none the less a limited registration does not prevent
the dog from being bred it only prevents their progeny form being registered
with AKC. So if a savvy broker says all the right things they may still be able
to purchase a well bred pet whose progeny will be registered with one of the
bogus registries like APR, Continental KC or DRA and subsequently sold in a pet
shop.
