No one believes testing is a *magical solution* but I do believe that since type and health are both governed initially by genes that we have as much control over improving health as we do over improving type--and we all seem to be breeding under the assumption that we have some control over type! Since humans were able to create hundreds of different types of *purebreds* under this assumption, I believe the assumption is correct.
