Since I am replying to the post in the order that I read them I may be
repeating myself or stating something already said...but spaying and
neutering Cavaliers will not stop the overpopulation problem.  Restricting
breeding is not the same as restricting pedigrees.  Spaying and neutering
dogs that are going to sit on your couch all day will not stop unwanted
breeding in the alley around the corner.
