Hi, Peggy,
I don't use any flea or tick prevention on pregnant or lactacting
bitches and my vet doesn't like it either. A flea comb may be a pain,
but it is safer in my opinion.
I would like to know when you all start puppies on heartworm meds? And
when you do think it is safe for them to have frontine or some
protection from disease carrying ticks? I know the vets
recommendations, but would like to hear from breeders.
thanks,
Suze
