But the ACKCSC is not the AKC and they do not make up the rules that breeders
have to follow. The ACKCSC follows the rules of the AKC - a completely
different story. The CKCSC makes their own. The ACKSC did not come up with
DNA requirement or put forth the rules that govern who can register what dog
and what procedures must be followed. The members of the CKCSC "are
supposed to" vote on major issues (if the Board ever gets around to putting
them forth.) The AKC (and by the way, who does make their rules? A
committee, each department, the Board of Directors??????) The AKC is run
like a business. As a matter of fact the President of the AKC is my neighbor
and he has no animal related experience at all. When asked how he got the
job he said that every business needs a leader and to be a good one it does
not matter whether you have experience running a business that sells
airplanes or paper clips (or something like that) you just need to know how
to get things done.
You can't compare the CKCSC with the ACKCS.... Apples and Oranges.
