Just an comment about the teeth cleaning without anesthesia. My vet, and any vet that I have ever asked, has told me under no circumstances to allow my dogs teeth to be cleaned without anesthesia as the teeth are not polished afterwards leaving grooves in the teeth where bacteria accumulates very rapidly causing a greater problem than there was before and necessitating more frequent teeth cleaning.
