Hi, I have submitted ( I think) 14 late assessments during the past year.   2 of them were assessments that just got missed.  Several of them occurred when I was sick for 4 days or when my husband had surgery.  A couple of them were when we had 13 admissions (11 Med A) in 2 weeks.  I am the only MDS Coordinator for 118 beds, and there is no backup for me if I am out.   At my previous facility, we had a few late assessments on the list when the survey team came in. According to my administrator, I am the only one she has ever heard of who has! The ones she worked with previously were perfect. Maybe she is right, I am just asking.
