as MDS co, I was expected to assist with feeding every breakfast.  The expectation was to assist with one resident.  This only  took about 15 minutes a day and was actually a pretty effective way to stay in tune with changes in some of the residents I saw on a daily basis.  I thought it was a good investment of my time.

I am lucky to even get out on the floor at all on some days.   I hope your administrator has not been hallucinating lately!!

Budget time and our Administrator has come up with a dilly! All MDS Coordinators are to feed residents at  mealtimes. Anyone else doing this? Someone must be because he says he has seen it at many facilities! I guess this will be a perfect time to do our assessments! ACorn
