I do not take "on call" for nursing. I do all MDS/care plans/care conferences/manage
QI's,etc, which is more than enough to keep me busy. My days off are just that-days
off.

Subject: On call responsibilities

Hi everyone:

How many of the MDS Coordinators out there are required to take nursing "on call"
rotation for your facilities?

Appreciate any and all answers!

Thanks!
Donna Browne-Atkins, RN, MDS Coordinator
