We don't take call nor are we required to work the units.  However, like
everywhere else there is currently a staffing shortage and we do pitch
in and cover a shift here and there on our days off.  Of course, we do
get well compensated for it.  Although salaried for my own position, if
working the floor is over my own "40 hours", I do get overtime pay.  Of
course we have been warned we had better not be doing our "own job"
during that time.  No problem there it is always too busy on the floors
to do anything else. I must admit I enjoy my occasional shift.
