Confirmed on `743ed3a0`: the [alias-detection Javadoc](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/blob/743ed3a0640f3d4bf8a7da5caf087fa8c7d36100/seatunnel-connectors-v2/connector-jdbc/src/main/java/org/apache/seatunnel/connectors/seatunnel/jdbc/internal/dialect/duckdb/DuckDBJdbcRowConverter.java#L146-L154) explicitly says it is independent of the driver version and will not automatically adopt a future typed getter. F8 is covered there. The precision round-trip and pre-epoch cases Daniel listed are already on this head, as is the [plain `TIMESTAMP` → MySQL `DATETIME(6)` upgrade note](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/blob/743ed3a0640f3d4bf8a7da5caf087fa8c7d36100/docs/en/introduction/concepts/incompatible-changes.md#L127). I have added the deferred cache/lifecycle and Calendar work to the PR description.
