Got that with your previous post, just didn't see a way to easily document the list of running drivers rather then manually writing them down as I read them off. Started to do that the other day and Windows 7 wouldn't let me disable or stop some of them. Any way to run task manager in Windows 7 in admin mode? > Drivers are more difficult to compare and disable if service or protocols > are not the problem. First way, the easier, is to check the Devices listing in > both modes and see if you can disable any networking related ones in normal > mode which are not running in safe mode. Looks like a long task but my only other option is to take it to the Dell store and have them debug it. Which unless they are running thru my router and network I doubt they would find any error. The NIC and everything checks out as running fine. And really would rather not risk having some tech at the Dell store trashing my system, especially since I have about 2-1/2 terabytes of data on the drives. Thanks and more testing to do.... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Computer Tech Support" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
