[Cooker] gcc 2.96

I hope that next time I run that lovely little ./no_rsync.pl I won't see
this version coming in the 7.2 beta directory..... If the oppinion of
the beta testers count for anything as far as the distribution is
concerned it seems quite obvious that most if not all of the people on
the list are against this "upgrade." As a c++ coder I can say I am
definately not happy with the reports I've read about 2.96 and after
experimenting with it I'm dead set against it. I reallize it is just in
the cooker directories so far but even the thought of making the same
mistake RH made is scary. So, here is yet another voice against 2.96....
