I used to take it out and mix it with ground beef when doing meatballs or an
Italian meatloaf; love it with tons of fennel; many do not care for the
fennel, but to me, the more, the better the sausage tastes.

Interesting. My family and then I always use it in the casings. We don't

You could, unless they're the kind that come in plastic casings you
remove.
Italian sausage does come in bulk form. That would be what you want.

were in a link form & there was ground Italian sausage, but I didn't

I bought the links, but how will I use those? Can I basically shred

up
myself & brown them with my ground round, before putting into the
