I am not sure in a pie, but if baking, you need to get baking splenda.

Hi, Yes, You can use splenda in any thing that calls for sugar. I put it
in
cookies cakes, frostings, pies, and you can even get brown sugar splenda,
but
only use half of what the thing your making calls for. Have fun

Subject: [CnD] Sugar free pie?
Has anyone made a pie using splenda? Preferably pumpkin or lemon. It is
for
my mother-in-law. I made a Saskatoon pie with splenda for her and she
really
liked it. I would like to make a different kind but I am a little leery on
how it will taste. Thanks for any input into my pie project.
