Your idea is a pretty good one. I like to put my flour in a big bin,
instead of scooping it out of the bag with a measuring utensil. I
usually prefer a bin that's twice the size of the amount of flour. I
do the same with sugar. Also, if I know I'll be scooping a lot of
things that are powdery, I put a cookie sheet underneath the bowl.
Some people have used newspaper. When they are done with the baking,
they roll it upreally tight and curl up the ends, , not crumple it. It
is highly recommended to keep your cooking area contained to one
place.
