I use the envelopes of Quaker instant oatmeal, the flavored ones, and some
times, the same but in the to go cups.

I used quick cooking oats.  But I just talked to my sister and I think the 
problem was that I cooked it for too long.  I checked with Directions  for 
Me and they said to cook it for two to two and one half minutes. 2

Actually, Dr. Ozz recommends 100% pureed pumpkin be added.  If I do that
though I need to add pumpkin spice and a teaspoon of cinnamon. On Tue, 6 Dec
