Well you can marinade a steak or like you suggest use a little salt and pepper. I don't use salt while preparing my steak because salt will remove the moisture or juices so I put it on after I prepare my steak but I do put a little pepper in it. I use a broiler or my Nuwave oven and it comes out fine. Walt
