HI Bob; Skyport has the spacers ready made that will bring your Alon's tail height back to normal design height. The Alon used Belleville Springs instead of the rubber doughnuts. The springs gave a much better ride while taxiing but have a tendency to come apart when not cared for properly. They also are significantly more expensive than the rubber doughnuts. I believe that the procedure has been published on the net previously. You might want to search the archives. If you do not find it, let me know, and I will try to talk you through the process.
