The reason I suggested switching caps was to highlight a difference in
caps
I.E. if the emptier tank follows a particular cap, it might have more ram
pressure than the other.  Crud or corrosion may have the little ram air
passage partially clogged.  Frankly, I rather like the fact that the left
wing toward the end has all the fuel.  Because thats where the gauge is, I
can tell exactly when the wings are empty.

BTW this is not an uncommon problem, my Cardinal empties one wing first
and
that causes me to have to hold more and more aileron pressure as the
flight
progresses, after all 150 lb. of fuel 4' off center becomes quite a load.

The only sure way this could be avoided is to vent both tanks from one
source so the pressure is guaranteed to be equal.
