the simplest is to subscribe to them as a client and copy them from the
maps/workshop folder.

No you didn't answer my question at all. Is there a way to download maps from
the workshop to use in a map group configuration?

Yes, David, I know. The only question I still have is:

how can I run a server that plays both se maps and custom maps that
are not in the workshop? How can I re-download the se maps to my
server so as to use the mapgroup?
