Heinz - thanks for clarifying the RAM installation issue. My main concern with the Latitude range is that the largest screen is 15.4". I've been enjoying the "Customize" feature on the Dell website.
Evan - I agree wholeheartedly with the "no such thing as too much RAM" sentiment. Ice I can understand too....but tupperware! You're pushing the boundaries a bit with that! ;-). I've had the oposite experience with LG in Cape Town, although it was appliance related. LeRoux - I probably won't do a whole lot of travelling for now...even if I was, I might still go for the large screen.
