Infopeople <http://www.infopeople.org> recently posted a blog entry I thought
might also interest Texas library staff. They’re hosting a video of a workshop
event originally sponsored by the Metropolitan Cooperative Library System as
part of the LSTA-funded Big Box Programming Grant.
<http://plsinfo.org/recommend/bigbox/>

The workshop is called, “Creating Library Author Events that Dazzle!” and took
place on June 16, 2009. Presenters discuss effective ways to attract
participants to author events at the library and also talk about ways libraries
can partner around author talks.

Visit Infopeople’s site to listen & watch all of the presentations here.
