have delayed converting my slides until I wonder if the effort is worth
it. wondering what will happen to all the digital photos I have now when
I expire. will they ever go anywhere else?????
The pleasure is in looking at (all of) them occasionally. You won't
believe what memories are hidden in them.
I run KDE, there is a plasma background widget, which allow several
slide shows next to each other. I have four frames set at different
sizes, each shows a picture for about one 1 min and I really enjoy it,
even if they are often covered by other windows.
The widget doesn't like RAWs, but I have the interesting ones converted
into jpg anyhow.
This widget is one of the pearls of KDE.
