In fact, I think that Philippe is right : adding RPD capabilities to DT would
be an excellent idea.
ATM, DT is absolutely not capable of what RPD does.
RPD can import files from the memory stick to a location, Dt only imports them
into its library, letting the transfer itself to the user.
RPD can name files to HHMMSSsubsec, a must with modern cameras that can take
many photos within a second. DT can't.
RPD can tranfer files to both a main location and a backup one. DT can't.
These are the three main functions I use RPD for.
But... I think RPD development won't stop for now, so there's no hurry at all.
