I sometimes send messages to multiple recipients as
BCCs with myself as TO. I think that's prefereable to putting all the
recipients as TO. Doesn't OE refuse to send if TO is blank? Or does
it just pop up a warning, but will send anyway after OKing the warning -- I've
never left TO blank, so I don't know.

SPAM when the sender = recipient
I normally bcc everyone with no-one in the TO address when I'm
forwarding anything, just so everyone doesn't have to wade through all the
names to get to the information. I've seen many times where when
there is nothing in the TO line, our mail server must be adding my name as
the TO. Won't filtering that make it so you cannot ONLY BCC
people?

Oh yeah I agree with everyone's opinions on this.
One of our customers BCCs himself ALL the time, as well as his wife in the
same room. I don't know why people can't look into the "sent"
box.
