Hi,

I don't need the GUI (anymore) - but I fully appreciate the need for one.

However, I wonder whether it is wise to invest into a GUI at THIS stage.  The Declude product has been very quick to grow in features, way beyond what Scott could have originally imagined when he "designed" the current set of config files. Declude has outgrown the current config file concept.

Frankly - I think it would make more sense to FIRST overhaul Declude in a new version that uses a different config file system (e.g., XML with nested nodes and using attributes where applicable. This would repalce the current text files in a bunch of subdirectories having positional parameters that can take call kind of meanings depending on context.)

Once the configuration of Declude has been moved into a sensible structure, then writing a GUI would be much more sensible. Otherwise, a GUI will be written for something that should be obsolete in the first place.

Best Regards
Andy Schmidt
