If you are developer for webby-type applications, I can see the attraction of
.NET and the interest, but if you develop for hardcore win apps, the noises for
Delphi are little worrying:

1/ Win32 looks like dropping out of focus. Marketing has decided little to
be gained from improving compiler further.

2/ NO mention of 64bit or have I missed something?? If Borland isnt going to
go there, then compiler choice seems to come down Visual C++ and ...???
Can only MS afford to invest here? I loath C++ but I use every cycle the
current hardware will give me and then some. Exploiting the hardware for visualization
and modelling looks like being domain of VC++ only in the future???

Please tell me I am totally wrong. Please...
