i think the form designer has a notification panel on top of each form.
This seems like something which could be solved with some info text.
e.g "this form requires the beansbinding plugin, click to open plugin
manager"
is it on the plugin portal? i don't know.

I don't know how many feature are lost (and so break existing
projects). Since the capability is in NB, I'm wondering if it's easy
to start including an auto download of missing features such as Matisse.
