It's almost a philosophical question on whether software is ever complete.

If someone wants to put it and the missing Matisse parts (?) on the plugin portal - thats fine i guess. But NB should not automatically download anything or advertise it in my opinion.

Wonder why you think it's better to fail to open an 8.2 project and not give any clue that it's NetBeans that's broken?
